Penny Proud was a transgender woman who was fatally shot on February 10, 2015 at 1:30 AM by an unknown assailant in New Orleans, Louisiana.Police are reporting that the murder occurred in the midst of a robbery on the 1100 block of Claiborne Avenue in the Treme District of New Orleans. No other details have been given about Penny's death and as of the time of this writing, her murder remains unsolved.
